Kyle Bergler is a composer and percussionist studying at the University of Nebraska - Omaha. He takes inspiration in large part from progressive rock and metal, along with video game soundtracks and EDM, writing elaborate, moving pieces with emphasis on atmosphere and emotion. Ever since he began composing in 2019, he’s had an interest in combining timbres in unconventional ways, which can also be attributed to his video game and prog influences. As a naturally curious and scientific person, Kyle enjoys writing pieces related to complex scientific topics, particularly astronomy and biology. As a performer, Kyle has been part of many different percussion groups, such as the BG Percussion Ensemble, Steel Band, and Samba Bateria. 

Outside of the realm of music, Kyle enjoys trail activities such as biking and hiking, discovering and playing different indie games, and has a mild obsession with fossils and prehistoric animals. While his musical journey has been short so far – only a handful of years – his unique harmonic and motivic styles are now a big passion of his and he hopes to continue making captivating music for years to come. 

Kyle received his bachelors' in Music Composition from Bowling Green State University in 2025.
